Deep Tissue Massage

Release Stress and Tension

Deep tissue massage is what pulled me into pursuing a career in massage therapy from the onset. I’d had so many bad experiences with other therapists who promised deep tissue work and, instead, provided me with Swedish massage that wasted my time and left me frustrated. For me, the best way to perform deep tissue work is to do so in a slow and methodical way that does not harm the client but still offers therapeutic benefits.  Deep tissue massage done right may leave you sore but should not have you bracing yourself against the therapist.

Deep tissue massage benefits:

  • relieve muscle fatigue
  • stimulate endorphine production
  • increase energy levels
  • lower stress and tension
  • promote restful sleep
  • increase overall wellbeing

Deep Tissue Sports Massage is a powerful tool in athletic recovery and performance.  When used by athletes, including weekend warriors, the therapeutic effects of deep tissue can enhance recovery and improve sports performance. Even non-athletes benefit from this type massage for it’s therapeutic ability to relieve chronic pain, reduce stress, and enhance flexibility.

Donald is an amazing therapist. One of the best deep tissue massages I’ve had in Phoenix. Highly recommend.
